31 women honored as influential women of Jackson for 2026
JACKSON, Tenn. — 31 women were honored at Jackson City Hall during Women’s History Month as the Influential Women of Jackson for 2026.

The recognition celebrates women who have made a difference across the community in business, service, and everyday life.
Winter Storm Fern volunteers among honorees
Mayor Scott Conger said many of the women selected were chosen from volunteer lists for services provided during January’s winter storms.

“I got to know several of them through Winter Storm Fern, a lot of these ladies, like I said, thanking them for zero weather related deaths during that time because they volunteered their time, they volunteered their resources, to make sure that those less fortunate had a place to stay and someone there with them,” Conger said.

Guest speaker Hope MacGregor used the occasion to highlight women who have influenced her.
“Well first and foremost my bestie, Jessica Platt, she’s going to hate that I said her name, oh my gosh her face is going to be so red, but no, Jessica is one of those people, who has so many times, had to pick herself up by her bootstraps, and keep moving forward,” MacGregor said.

The honorees received certificates recognizing their achievements.
