West Jackson Fire Engulfs House
JACKSON, Tenn.-A fire had a house in west Jackson completely engulfed in flames late Friday afternoon. 911 calls started coming in just after 4 p.m. as passers-bys noticed flames shooting from the roof of this home in the 900 block of Hollywood Drive. From initial reports no one was believed to be inside. The owners said it was a horrible scene. “To our knowledge, there have been no problems. There’s nothing that I know that would have caused it,” said Lamar Hicks, homeowner. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
