Benton County Fire Claims Two Lives

SULPHUR CREEK — Benton County officials are investigating a trailer fire after finding the remains of two charred bodies inside, Saturday. Sheriff Tony King says the fire happened in the remote area of Sulphur Creek. Officials say they got a call from the next door neighbor, who is also the landlord, around 7 a.m. Saturday. Tennessee state arson officials are helping with the investigation. The remains will be sent to the Tennessee medical examiner in Nashville for positive identification. The trailer was a total loss.
