NORTH JACKSON — A local business is partnering with an organization that helps families and children who are facing a crisis in their lives that have left them homeless. George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home is hosting a donation drive to benefit the Dream Center of Jackson. Families at the center get help in finding employment and are assisted in preparing families for financial and emotional recovery Gail Gustafson, Executive Director at the Dream Center, says it’s good to see West Tennesseeans donate to a good cause. “When people do drives and go out their way and go above and beyond to do something for us to help us out to make life easier here at the dream center, I mean it gets a hold of my heart,” Gustafson said. Organizers say they need donations of coats, clothing, baby clothes and supplies along with cleaning supplies. Donations are being accepted at their North Chapel location Monday through Saturday until December 20.
