Jackson Club Raising Money For Dream Center
NORTH JACKSON — Members of the Jackson Rotary Club have been collecting money this holiday season in hopes that some families will see a brighter Christmas. The money raised will benefit the children at the Dream Center, which is an organization that houses families and individuals who have experienced extreme crisis in their lives. Rotarians raised enough money to give every child at the Dream Center a $20 gift card to spend on themselves for Christmas. This came with the help of the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation‘s Christmas Challenge, which matched $1 to every $3 donated in honor or memory of someone to one of the funds managed by the Foundation. On Friday, Dec. 20 at 9 a.m. members of the Jackson Rotary Club will accompany Santa Claus at the Dream Center to distribute the gift cards to the children.
