HAYWOOD COUNTY — The Memphis district of Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed that one person is dead after a train accident, Wednesday afternoon. The accident happened around 2:45 p.m. on Sugar Creek Road near the railroad. The train was headed west. There were no lights nor bars at the intersection.
