DYERSBURG, Tenn. — Dyersburg Police are looking for three men in connection with an undercover drug operation that has put several drug dealers behind bars in less than a week. Residents like business owner, James Mosley, said it’s needed. “I feel safer and feel like the police are doing their job,” Mosley said. More than 20 people have been arrested in the city since Thursday, accused of selling drugs from hydrocodone to cocaine. Now police are searching for Charles Johnson, Danny Cobb, and Steven Taylor, secretly indicted on drug charges but now on the run. “I watch the police and they’ve been going up and down alleys and streets to keep things as safe as they can,” Mosley said. It’s all a part of a year long undercover operation by the Dyersburg Police Department with help from the Dyer County Sheriff’s Department, to get drugs off the streets. Police are hoping more operations like this will make drug dealers think twice about doing illegal business in their city. They’re asking anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts to contact the Dyersburg Police Department.
