Two in custody after Dyersburg car burglary arrests

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — Two suspects including one juvenile are in custody after police link them to three car burglaries. Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on June 28, police saw two males walking behind Johnson Motor Company in Dyersburg. Responding officers found the doors open to several cars on St. John Avenue and on Knapp Street. After questioning and a pat down, officers found stolen property on both suspects. A 15-year-old juvenile was transported to the McDowell Center. His court date will be July 16 in Dyer County Juvenile Court. The other suspect, Rayshaun Thomas, 20, is being held at the Dyer County Law Enforcement Complex. He will appear in Dyersburg City Court on Monday. Both were charged with three counts of Burglary of an Auto.
