Dyer Station Celebration 31st Annual Fourth of July Celebration June 27 – July 4, 2015 Saturday, June 27 Opening Ceremonies 6:00 pm at the Dyer VFW Sunday, June 28 Patriotic Cantata 6:00 pm at the Dyer 1st Assembly of God Church Monday, June 29 Rook Tournament 6:00 pm at the Dyer VFW Tuesday, June 30 Community Appreciation Refreshments at and provided by Dyer Farmers and Merchants Bank 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Trivia Bowl (teams of 5 or less) 6:30 pm at the Dyer VFW Wednesday, July 1 Community Wide Church Service 7:00 pm at Dyer C P Church Candlelight Memorial Service Immediately following the church service Thursday, July 2 Praise Singing 6:30 pm at the Dyer 1st United Methodist Church Friday, July 3 The following activities will take place in Downtown Dyer behind the Georgia McIllwain Ellis Mini-Park. Cake Walk 6:00 pm Jumpers (Free for kids!) 6:00 – 9:00 pm Concessions/Homemade Ice Cream Sale/Memorabilia Sales Country Street Dance featuring “Double Edge” 7:00-10:00 pm Door prizes will be given during the dance. Saturday, July 4 The following activities will take please at the David Robinson Park unless otherwise noted. Lion‘s Club, GCHS Band, etc. Food Sales 8:00 am until sold out Arts and Crafts Sales (Contact Jimmy and Janet West 692-2326) 8:00 am until Classic Car/Truck & Bike Show and Antique Tractor Show Registration 8:00 – 10:00 am Awards 12:30 pm at Gazebo Old Country Store 9:00 am until sold out Fourth of July Parade 9:00 am Line Up ($5 if entry is being judged) 8:00 am at the City Lumber Parking Lot Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Contest 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Bingo 1:00 pm at the Gazebo Pet Show 2:30 pm at the Gazebo Patriotic Singing by 1st Baptist Church Choir 8:30 pm Fireworks Display (Best seen from or close to the park) 9:00 pm Please keep our troops and their families in your hearts and in your prayers.
