Union City police said they have charged a man with throwing a ham at his mother. According to police, Emanule Cordell Kennedy, 37, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a charge of domestic assault. Kennedy’s mother, Brenda King, Told police the two argued at their home and hit her neck in the back with a basketball-sized ham while she was walking down the hall of her home. She was left the home and went to the police department to report the ham assault.
