Council Votes on Traffic Light Near North Park

There will soon be another stop as you drive along North Highland Avenue. Tuesday, the Jackson City Council approved funds necessary to put a light at the intersection of North Highland and Demonbreun, which also serves as the entrance to North Park. The project is expected to cost just less than $130,000. The mayor said work should get underway on the intersection in the next 30 days.
