Congratulations to Hardin County Volunteer Firefighter Eric Rogers who has been honored as the VFW Paramedic of the Year for the State of Tennessee. Rogers has been a member of the Hardin County Fire Department since 2004 and paramedic since 2008. This is not the first state-wide honor for Rogers. In 2008, he was awarded the State of Tennessee EMS Star of Life Award for his efforts in saving the life of a 13-year-old boy was accidentally shot.
