Police: Worker Tried to Set Store on Fire

Jackson Police have arrested a worker at the Family Dollar on Royal Street after they said she set a fire inside the store. Amanda Nicole Wilbourn faces a charge of aggravated arson in connection with the Tuesday night fire. Investigators said video evidence from inside the store resulted in the arrest of Wilbourn. Officers said they believe she intentionally set the fire in the automotive section, knowing there were other people in the store.
