Act of Valor Features SEAL Aaron Vaughn
A Navy Seal from West Tennessee who was killed in action last year is featured in a movie that was released, Friday. The movie, “Act of Valor”, which can now be seen in theaters across the country features real Navy Seals. One of those seals was Aaron Vaughn, who was killed in action in August 2011 in Afghanistan. He was 30-years-old at the time of his death. He was a 1999 graduate from Obion County Central High School and was part of the Seal Team Six. “We knew that he was in it, course we didn’t know that he wasn’t going to be here to watch it with us, you know, so, that makes it sad,” said Vaughn’s grandmother, Geneva Vaughn. Family members ill have a table set up at the Hollywood Showcase theater in Union City on Saturday to sell memorial bracelets to raise money for the Aaron Vaughn Children’s Fund
