Crews to Shut Down Royal/Allen Intersection

A Jackson intersection near downtown will be closed so Jackson Energy Authority crews can work on water system lines. Starting at 7 p.m., Tuesday… the entire intersection at Royal Street and Allen Avenue will be shut down. The closure is for replacing water mains. The intersection will reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday and will close again at the same time, Wednesday night. Work is expected to be finished by Thursday morning.
