Make A Wish Sends Girl To Disney World

Eighteen year old Candace’s dreams came true Sunday thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation and Union University’s Chi Omega. Candace found out Sunday she’s on the way to Walt Disney World resort in Florida. Organizers surprised Candace with a parade where she received Royal treatment. Disney characters were there to cheer her on along with a live band as she cruised through the campus in a shiny convertible. Candace is still recovering from two strokes, and her parents said this trip means the world to her. “It’s wonderful. Candace has never had a lot of fun in her life, and it is overwhelming that they would care enough to do this. I am amazed,” said Parent Reatha Boyd. At the end of the parade organizers threw a Disney themed party for Candace.
