Miss Tennessee Talks to Teens Thursday
Miss Tennessee made a stop at Bemis Elementary, Thursday to speak to students. Erin Hatley spoke to more than 250 children from kindergarten to 8th grade about being a positive person. Miss Tennessee also emphasized giving back to the community and how important volunteering is for their communities. Hatley said her visit was just another opportunity to encourage young Tennesseans to make their communities better. “I utilize this crown as a beacon of hope to show them that anyone can come and work hard and set goals for themselves and achieve their dreams,” said Miss Tennessee 2011, Erin Hatley. Hatley is a West Tennessee native form Bartlett. Another Miss Tennessee will be crowned this June her in the Hub City.
