TDOT Plans Weekend Closure of Industrial Drive in Milan

The Tennessee Department of Transportation is planning to close Industrial Drive in Milan during the weekend. The closure will allow contract crews to build a temporary driveway as a part of a $32.3 million project to construct four miles of new travel lanes. The closure is expected to begin April 20, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. and end April 23, 2012 at 6:00 a.m. Motorists are asked to plan ahead and seek alternate routes around the closure. Portable message boards will be placed throughout the area to assist motorists. SR 104 is the preferred alternate route.
