Alert Neighbor Calls Police, Suspected Thief Caught

Jackson Police said a quick-thinking homeowner and his neighbor helped them nab a suspected burglar, Wednesday morning. Gary Hart, 48, of Jackson is charged with aggravated burglary and theft under $500. He will be officially charged, Thursday. A homeowner in midtown Jackson called police, Wednesday morning and told officers he has spotted a man looking in his window. A K-9 was able to track the suspect, who left a trail of stolen property. Hart was arrested a short time later. He will make his first court appearance, Thursday.
