Investigators Say Muse Street Fire Suspicious

A house fire in east Jackson that left on a charred from in its wake sparks an investigation. Firefighter responded to the scene early last Friday morning as flames engulfed the home located on Muse Street, which is about a block for the 7 Eyewitness News studios. Fire investigators said they have ruled the nature of the fire as suspicious and are continuing their investigation. It took dozens of firefighters more than an hour to contain the flames and to put out hot sports that kept popping up. Apparently, no one was injured or at home at the time it caught fire.
