Falcons have Gonzalez back, Titans need a win

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Tennessee Titans certainly are getting tested this preseason by one playoff team after another. And now they get to play Atlanta, a team that just missed a trip to the Super Bowl.

Coach Mike Munchak wants a win against the Falcons after losing first to Washington, then at Cincinnati.

Munchak says winning always matters and his Titans are 0-2. The coach says he knows the score of Saturday night’s game won’t matter when they go to Pittsburgh for the season opener Sept. 8.

But Munchak says they want to win at everything they do and have success, treating this game as if it did matter.

The Falcons (0-2) also are winless. Matt Ryan will have an extra target on the field in veteran tight end Tony Gonzalez.
