Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. Tuesday
Skies will gradually get clearer overnight tonight, and with light winds and clear skies, it’s bound to be a cool start to Wednesday. Temperatures will start out in the middle to upper 40s around sunrise at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. Tomorrow, another cold front moves in returning a chance for more scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm or two.
WEDNESDAY
As the cold front approaches West Tennessee tomorrow, skies that were clearer overnight will become cloudy at times again. Scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm or two will be possible morning, afternoon, and early evening, but especially around midday. Temperatures will warm up to the upper 60s and lower 70s but the cold front will be bringing cooler air with it for the days ahead.
REST OF THE WEEK
Temperatures could start out in the lower to middle 40s on Thursday and Friday morning with cooler air in place but drier conditions are expected as well. Skies will be mostly sunny to mostly cloudy on Thursday with areas near the Tennessee River dealing with the most clouds. Sunnier skies are forecast for the area on Friday.
The latest forecast for the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival Grand Floats Parade on Friday, May 6th is for sunny skies and temperatures in the middle and upper 60s in the morning to lower 70s during the afternoon.
