Henderson County to provide warming center next week
HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Henderson County is offering a way to keep warm amid upcoming winter weather.
Henderson County Emergency Management, along with Mayor Robby McCready and the Henderson County Homeless Coalition, announced that a warming center will be opening.
The warming center will be located at the Watson Emergency Services Center, located at 50 Natchez Trace Drive in Lexington.
The center is scheduled to open at 5 p.m. on Sunday January 14, until 8 a.m. on Monday January 15. The warming center will again open at 5 p.m. on Monday through 8 a.m. on Tuesday January 16.
Henderson County EMA says additional openings are possible depending on the severity of the weather.
