Weakley Co. Man Charged with Manslaughter

WEAKLEY CO., Tenn. – Weakley County deputies arrested William Joseph “Bill” Puckett on a charge of voluntary manslaughter, Friday. Puckett is charged in South Fulton in connection with the death of Robert Elks. Investigators say Puckett and Elks got into a fight at Puckett’s home on Oakfield Drive in Martin on July 29. Police say Elks died from his injures, Friday. The investigation continues.
