Humboldt Area Rescue Squad’s ‘Zombie 5K’ returns this month

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Do you think you have the skills to survive a zombie apocalypse?

Humboldt Area Rescue Squad / EMS will once again present the Zombie 5K on October 19.

The yearly event includes a family fun run and costume contest in celebration of the spooky season.

Participants are asked to dress in their best glow and spooky gear and meet at Bailey Park in Humboldt, ready to run for their lives!

Start time is 6:30 p.m., with awards to follow at 7:30.
