Man convicted of raping daughter over 5 years in Haywood County

On April 21, 2026, after a two-day jury trial in the Circuit Court of Haywood County, Defendant Miguel De Jesus-Flores was found Guilty of all Counts in the indictment: Two Counts of Rape of a Child, Three Counts of Rape, Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, and Incest.

U.S. Attorney's Office observes National Crime Victims' Rights Week

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Tennessee joins the Department of Justice's Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) and the Executive Office for the United States Attorneys (EOUSA) in observing National Crime Victims' Rights Week. This year’s theme is "Listen. Act. Advocate. Protecting victims, serve communities.”
