Madison County Deputy Suspended, Under Investigation
A Madison County Sheriff’s Deputy is suspended as the department investigates complaints of two assaults. According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Sergeant Vick A. Kendrick, 58, was suspended with pay pending the outcome of an internal investigation. The Sheriff’s Office said the alleged assaults happened on or about April 16. The assaults were reportedly on two inmates at the penal farm. The administration of the sheriff’s department became aware of the incidents, Thursday morning. Sergeant Kendrick has been an employee of the Madison County Sheriff‘s Office since October 2001. The investigation is ongoing.
