We are beyond excited to bring back our highly coveted National Student Athlete Day. A month long celebration highlighting the achievements of student-athletes in 12 schools across one community. This year, 111 outstanding student-athletes will be honored for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to their schools and communities. From football to basketball, softball to track and field, these student-athletes have excelled both on the field and in the classroom.

WBBJ’s National Student Athlete Day is an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the talent and commitment of these exceptional students, and to inspire future generations of student-athletes to strive for success both in sports and in life. So, forget the crowds, the score, all the hype, and remember the sacrifices it takes to be not just an athlete, but a student-athlete.
